Jennifer Branstetter

Jennifer Branstetter brings more than 20 years of experience to utilizing strategic partnerships, grassroots advocacy and coordinated media campaigns to influence public policy and public opinion. Prior to joining CCG, Jennifer served as Director of Policy and Planning for Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett where she spearheaded several major health care, economic and education policy initiatives for the administration – including leading the administration’s team that successfully negotiated the state’s Medicaid waiver, an alternative to the ACA, with the US Department of Health and Human Services.

Jennifer has extensive experience working with community-based organizations, health-related associations, national advocacy groups, and schools to implement award-winning statewide grassroots coalitions and public education campaigns. She is an accomplished executive producer of industrial and marketing videos and won a 2008 International Film & Video Gold World Medal from The New York Festivals for her work on the drug documentary, “Shane’s Story,” for the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, where she served as the Director of Education and Outreach. Currently, Jennifer is overseeing several statewide government affairs and advocacy campaigns on major public policy initiatives.

Jennifer began her career working with statewide media, leading media training and planning events around public policy initiatives. She worked as the communications coordinator for the Pennsylvania Bar Association and also as a deputy press secretary for Pennsylvania’s then-Lieutenant Governor Mark Schweiker. Jennifer started her career with Burson Marsteller Public Relations/Public Affairs in Pittsburgh. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Washington and Jefferson College and a Master of Arts degree in English from Duquesne University.
