Nick James

Senior Director Global Advocacy and Media Relations

Nick has nearly 20 years experience working within media and PR service providers in ethical and consumer healthcare. Nick has extensive advocacy, journalist and high-level media business contacts and has worked for a large range of clients including Sanofi, Novartis, Merck, Abbvie, Boehringer Ingelheim, Medivation and Pfizer across a number of diverse therapy areas. As part of his experience, Nick has worked with a wide range of stakeholder and advocacy groups not only in the UK, but across Europe and globally in many therapy areas.

Nick has provided content marketing services for over 15 years for international clients including GE Healthcare and AXA PPP healthcare. This has included the development of health information strategies, content generation and translation as well as the development and implementation of social and digital communications.

Nick started his career at Hill & Knowlton working within their corporate division for clients including American Express and the Energy Savings Trust before moving into its healthcare practice. After H&K, he joined an award-winning media start-up business – Health Media Group. HMG offered news delivery and medical education solutions to media and blue chip healthcare clients. He then spent 6 years at Chandler Chicco Agency leading the media function of the European arm of the business.
