Alix Floyd

Vice President of Communications

Alix Floyd is a communications and strategy consultant with eleven years of experience driving stakeholder engagement and improving corporate positioning through partnership development, issues and crisis management, and strategic corporate communications.

Most recently, Alix managed patient advocacy and engagement at Alexion Pharmaceuticals. There, she built and repaired relationships with domestic and international third parties, ensured patient perspective integration throughout organization, developed programs to meet the needs of rare disease patients, and led internal and external response around high profile issues with patient groups.

Prior to Alexion, Alix was a Vice President at global public relations firm, where she advised clients on partnership and coalition building, corporate social responsibility, and corporate communications. Some of Alix’s clients included Genentech, Roche, Celgene, Bank of America, USAID and Abbott. Alix led the creation and launch of Access Accelerated, a coalition of 22 pharmaceutical companies including MSD, and partners including The World Bank Group to fight non-communicable diseases.
