Jayme McCormick

Senior Vice President of Global Health

Jayme McCormick works with health care clients to develop and execute communications strategies across advocacy and stakeholder engagement, disease awareness, corporate reputation, issues management and product communications. Her experience spans the public, private and non-profit arenas and has resulted in positive reputation management, clinical practice and policy change across industry partners.

Jayme began her career in Washington D.C. where she led global, national and state-based communications and advocacy campaigns for clients such as Philips Healthcare, AstraZeneca, Pfizer, MedImmune, Abbott, the Alliance for Rationale Use of NSAIDs and Endo Pharmaceuticals. She also worked with the US National Institutes of Health National Child and Maternal Health Education Program, the Back to Sleep programme and the National Children’s Study, as well as the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on the Heads Up on Traumatic Brain Injury programme to translate and disseminate health research to key national and international audiences.

She now resides in London where she has led global programme implementation for clients such as ViiV Healthcare, GSK Vaccines, Ethicon Biosurgery, Bristol Myers-Squibb, Merck, Philips AVENT and Pfizer. Most recently, Jayme served Head of Health for a global public relations firm in London where she led the health practice, as well as worked as client relationship lead for the agency’s portfolio of GSK Vaccines global work. She also led corporate communications for ViiV Healthcare, specifically focused on thought leadership, access and CSR, and digital communications. Her areas of expertise include: vaccines, oncology, rare diseases, cardiovascular, virology, maternal and child health and medical devices.

Jayme holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Pennsylvania State University.
