Allison Griffin

Stakeholder & Media Relations

Allison brings more than two decades of experience in strategic message development, media relations, issue advocacy, grassroots development and coalition building. A seasoned consultant, Ms. Griffin has worked with pharmaceutical and biotech companies, physician practices and healthcare advocacy organizations to build support for a variety of legislative and regulatory issues at the state and federal levels.

Previously, Ms. Griffin managed media relations for the Texas Medical Association. She also coordinated campaign and grassroots activities for TMA’s political arm and lobbied the Texas Legislature and Texas congressional delegation on behalf of the medical profession.

In Washington, Ms. Griffin spent three years as Press Secretary to U.S. Rep. Henry Bonilla and later worked in the press office of the Republican National Committee. In 1995, National Journal named her a “Rising Star” among Capitol Hill staff members. Ms. Griffin began her career at the Republican Party of Texas, where she assisted Karen Hughes with media and public relations.

In her volunteer life, Ms. Griffin served as President of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation’s Austin Affiliate, where she helped pilot the Komen Foundation’s national public policy project.
