In his role as Senior Strategist, Robin brings 25 years of strategic marketing communications and public relations experience to advance the goals of clients. Robin blends his experience in corporate communications, government affairs, and issues & crisis management with his background in branding & marketing to bring a holistic, strategic perspective to marketing communications.
Previously, Robin led the marketing communications and state government affairs function for Heinz North America, H.J. Heinz Company’s largest division – representing half of total company sales and profit. In this role, he was responsible for all external communications efforts, including executive communications, issues and crisis management and media relations. Robin also led the company’s brand communications efforts across all U.S. brands, as well as government affairs for Heinz across 12 states where Heinz had U.S. operations.
Prior to joining Heinz, Robin was a Vice President at Ketchum, where he focused on marketing communications and branding, issues and crisis management, labor relations and government affairs. Robin is a past board member of the International Food Information Council (IFIC), Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce, as well as board member for the Pittsburgh chapters of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and the Business Marketing Association (BMA).
